The July NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour event is now a little more identifiable.

A source at New Hampshire Motor Speedway has confirmed that Town Fair Tire will take on the role of title sponsor for the division’s July 14 event at the 1.058-mile oval.

The event will be known as the Town Fair Tire 100. New Hampshire Motor Speedway management is expected to officially announce the new sponsorship deal with Town Fair Tire early next week.

The race is part of the Lenox Industrial Tools 301 Sprint Cup Series weekend at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

The weekend also includes a 200-lap Nationwide Series event on July 14 and also the debut of the Global RallyCross Championship event at the track.

The 2012 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season is scheduled to open with the running of the Icebreaker April 15 at Thompson International Speedway.
