Airfares Dropping Up To 20 Percent In August

It probably won’t last, but airfares are expected to drop from 10 percent to 20 percent in August. Through March this year, the average domestic airfare was $373, or 4.8 percent higher than the same time frame last year, says the U.S. Transportation Department.
