What can I do about this. Publishers Billing Center had me pay $179.00 for People magazine. I thought I was renewing my subscription. Is there any way I can get my money back. I am a retired senior citizien with a fixed income and this is really very disturbing

I thought I was renewing my Real Simple subscription in July only to find out it was not renewed. Through numerous email communications, I discovered it was not through Real Simple. I have no way of contacting Publishers Billing Center to get a refund. Do you have any suggestions?

Have you had any success in getting your money refunded? I paid for a magazine renewal back in February and never received an issue and have been unable to get a refund.

Same experience a week ago with national geographic renewal. Thought they were official renewal site. Did this on 11/11/2012 via MasterCard. Learned a week later of problem when I received nat. Geo renewal.

Sent two (2) checks (Senior Citizen), one in April 2012 and one in Aug 2012 for renewal of TV Guide Magazine. Subscription was never renewed. Finally contacted TV Guide and had to renew with them. Keep getting promises of refunds in 4-6 weeks, but no refunds. Filing a complaint for Mail Fraud with Consumer Protection Agency.

I received an invoice for $78 for a year for renewal of a magazine that is normally $20.00 for a year and they told me that is what the magazine company asked them to charge!

I called the actual magazine and they told me it’s a scam.

How can they still be around ripping people off?
