Dumb And Dumber?: A Geneticist’s View

How can we possibly be smarter consumers if we’re actually getting dumber? Gerald Crabtree, a Stanford geneticist, recently wrote in two journals that, because of genetic mutations we’re not as smart as our ancestors. And we’re only getting dumber. Maybe that’s why we get so excited, inexplicably, over buy-one, get-one promotions.
