An indication the Federal Trade Commission is losing the battle against robocalls: It’s offering $50,000 cash to the best technical solution to eliminating illegal telemarketing calls to mobile phones and landlines.
This does not exactly inspire confidence in the agency’s Do Not Call registry, designed to protect consumers from these calls.
