OK, guys, the secret is out. Now we know how many handbags women really have. So your significant other has been telling you “only a couple” for all these years? In a national poll by Consumer Reports’ ShopSmart, women said they owned an average of 10 bags and 10 percent said they own more than 20.
On “splurge” bags, women say they spend an average of $148.
