J.D. Power: Sony, Vizio, Samsung score highest in HDTV customer satisfaction

Consumers who bought an HDTV smaller than 50 were most happy with Sony and Vizio sets and those who bought one 50 inches or bigger were happiest with Samsung, according to the J.D. Power 2013 High-Definition Television (HDTV) Satisfaction Report.
The report, released last week, was based on feedback from more than 6,000 people who bought an HDTV in the past year. Sony and Vizio scored 858 out of a possible 1,000 points in the under-50-inch class, followed by LG Electronics and Samsung, each at 854.
Samsung scored highest with the big-screens (50 inches or bigger) with 872 points.
