Mortgage Rates Dip Again

National mortgage rates tipped slightly lower for the second straight week, with the 30-year average at 3.43 percent and the 15-year at 2.65 percent.
A week ago, the 30-year averaged 3.54 percent, the 15-year 2.65 percent.

The numbers from New England:

This week:
30-year: 3.45 percent
15-year: 2.70 percent

Last week:
30-year: 3.57 percent
15-year: 2.78 percent

A year ago
30-year: 3.88 percent
15-year: 3.12 percent
