Mortgage Rates Dip To Four-Month Lows

Mortgage rates dropped to levels not seen since the summer as the market assumes the Fed will not change its bond-buying purchases by the end of the year.

Thirty-year fixed rates averaged 4.13 percent in the past week, down from 4.28 percent the previous week. Fifteen-year rates averaged 3.24 percent, down from 3.33 percent the previous week.

30-year: 4.17 percent
15-year: 3.28 percent

30-year: 4.29 percent
15-year: 3.36 percent

30-year: 3.46 percent
15-year: 2.76 percent
