Mortgage Rates Up Slightly: 30-Year At 3.34 Percent

Another tread-water week for mortgage rates, with 30-year loans at 3.34 and 15-year loans at 2.67 nationally in the past week, according to data released Thursday by Freddie Mac.
Rates the previous week were 3.32 (30) and 2.64 (15).

Here are the numbers in New England:

This week:
30-year: 3.39 percent
15-year: 2.71 percent

Last week:
30-year: 3.36 percent
15-year: 2.67 percent

A year ago
30-year: 3.98 percent
15-year: 3.29 percent
