National mortgage rates hit record lows yet again in the past week, with averages for 30-year loans at 3.75 percent and 15-year loans at 2.97, according to figures released Thursday by Freddie Mac. The 30-year rate hit an all-time low for the fifth straight week.
Here are the average rates in New England in the past week.

This week:
30-year: 3.76
15-year: 2.98

Last week
30-year: 3.78 percent
15-year: 3.04 percent

A year ago
30-year: 4.58 percent
15-year: 3.77 percent
