What if we have one of the TV’s that are listed and have been having problems with it not coming on but have not repaired because eventually we were able to get it back on – and just 2 days ago we have not been able to get it back on. What is our course of action – can we call some repair person to come out and if it the problem in the suit – get our money back for the repair? We purchased in 2007.

Hi Sandra:
Eventually, it might fail altogether. I would check to see if you’re covered on this, then have the TV repaired.
samsung sent a tech. out to repair my hlt5087 tv he looked on his cell phone for instructions on how to procede on ??? you tube ??? he could not fix it said he would order parts = never heard from him again = called samsung and was told power boards for my tv were not available = tv is in the middle of the floor no idea what to do next
Hi Kevin: Just this morning I had this very issue. I just now googled the model number and this form and your article popped-up. I want to get it fixed. Am I eligible for reimbursement even though my claim is beyond the deadline for filing? Thanks
I enjoy, cause I found exactly what I was looking for. You have ended my 4 day lengthy hunt! God Bless you man. Have a great day. Bye
I own a 50″ Samsung LED DLP and the model number that is listed i am having problems with. First the pixels start to go, then the fan, then the TV shuts off by itself! I Paid $1500 for this TV. It should last at least 10 yrs.
The old tv sets lasted even longer ! State of the Art ? Bah.
