Spotfiy app update brings free streaming music to iPhone users.

Spotify might be the best music service you can’t use on a iPhone without paying a premium. But now Spotify, apparently aware of a potentially massive audience it’s missing, is offering a free iPhone/iPad app giving users unlimited mobile music.
The update, available Tuesday at the iTunes App Store, will allow users to create their own stations based on an album, artist song or playlist. The move puts now matches other music services like Pandora, Slacker and MOG that offer streaming “radio.”
Of course, if it’s free, that means it usually means it comes with advertising, like traditional radio.
Here is the advertising playlist: Chevrolet, Durex, Heineken, Red Stag by Jim Beam, Lipton Iced Tea, Macy’s, McDonald’s, Progressive, Red Bull, Taco Bell, Verizon Wireless, and Warner Bros.
Even with the advertising, this is still good news for anyone who likes streaming music.
