One of the best deals for mulch, especially if you need a lot of it, is the Forestry mix at Envirocyle in Bloomfield and West Hartford. Foresty, a fine, dark blend (almost sounds like coffee), costs $22 a yard plus a delivery fee. (Check which location has the least expensive fees to your location.)
