U-Verse App Brings Some TV Channels To iPad
AT&T became the latest TV provider to tempt subscribers with an app that brings programming to an iPad when it introduced an app for its U-verse service.
The iPad for U-verse app provides supplemental content for viewers watching programming on a TV screen, but it also allows several channels to be viewed directly on an iPad over a home network.
Here’s the list of cable channels that will be available:
A&E Networks, STARZ, ENCORE, TBS, TNT, truTV, Cartoon Network and Adult Swim.

I cracked the headlight lens of a volvo. The lens could not be replaced; the the whole unit had to be replaced at the cost of almost $500.00 parts and labor. Volvo is on my “do not buy” list.
It is not clear whether my email was sent and received. There was no verification! Re: volvo lens.
Honestly, if I want to share what I’m watching on TV to Facebook, I will just open the app on my iPad. There is nothing difficult about that. It really stinks that U-Verse customers are unable to stream. I use the DISH Remote Access app on my iPad, and it exceeds the U-Verse app in every way. I can watch live TV on my iPad just as it would appear on my TV at home, as well as stream many on demands movies and shows. I can watch anything I have on my 922 SlingLoaded DVR right on my iPad, which is even better. The best thing about the DRA app is that it lets me take my TV with me wherever I go thanks to DISH’s TV Everywhere™ technology. I have an iPad2 with 3G, so I can stream when I am on my way to DISH where I work, or while I am on the light rail headed to school. So while U-Verse users are using their iPad as a $500 remote and telling people what they’re not streaming, I will be watching TV when and where I want.
Actually U-verse does Stream all its on demand content which is insanely abundant, even premiums. So it’s not a $500 remote, it’s a $500 DVR, Remote and On demand Library.
