Sandy Aid Allocation Begins

Congress has shored up the funds, and now it’s time for agencies to distribute them among the many damaged shores. Below, Housing and Urban Development Secretary Shaun Donovan leads a status update meeting on Sandy recovery efforts in the Situation Room of the White House. The $60 billion Sandy Aid package signed last month appropriated $16 billion to HUD’s Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Program.
