Steak Dinner At White House Yields GOP Votes For POTUS

by Categorized: President Obama, Washington Date:

How much did that steak dinner at the White House Wednesday night for a dozen conservative Republicans pay off for President Obama when it came to the first gun control vote on Thursday morning.

The guest list included:

\"steak\"Senator Johnny Isakson of Georgia, Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, Senator John Boozman of Arkansas, Senator Susan Collins of Maine, Senator Mike Crapo of Idaho, Senator Mike Enzi of Wyoming, Senator Deb Fischer of Nebraska, Senator Orrin Hatch of Utah, Senator Pat Roberts of Kansas, Senator Marco Rubio of Florida, Senator John Thune of South Dakota, and Senator Roger Wicker of Mississippi.

Isakson, Alexander, Collins and Wicker voted with the Democrats, helping to fuel a decisive, initial, 68-31 victory for gun control advocates.

The menu, according to the White House, featured a green salad, steak and sautéed vegetables.

POTUS…this is what it’s come to…’POTUS’… when referring the The President of the United States…sounds like an old Roman name during the demise of the Roman Empire…our POTUS seems to be leading us in the same direction…

Making your own fruit salad is not hard; you just need to prepare its ingredients. And the ingredients used are neither extinct nor hard to find, you can just whip out your wallet and make the march to the nearest grocery store.,
