Add Marco Rubio’s Name to the List of High Profile McMahon Supporters

Florida Senator and rising GOP star Marco Rubio is the latest big name to publicly back Linda McMahon’s U.S. Senate bid.

Rubio recorded a phone message for McMahon; the robocall will be sent out to Connecticut voters beginning Saturday, the McMahon campaign said.

Here’s the text:

“Hi, this is Senator Marco Rubio. I’m calling you to urge you to vote for Linda McMahon on November 6. I’ve been fighting to reduce spending and taxes in Washington, but I need Linda’s help. We need more job creators in the Senate, and Linda McMahon fits the bill. I know she’ll stand with me when we’re working toward tax cuts and lower spending because she knows that will help our middle class and small businesses. Her opponent is a career politician who has been in Washington voting for higher taxes and more debt. His votes have nearly doubled our debt in six years. We can’t afford six more years of that. Our families need Linda McMahon in Washington, and I need you to vote for Linda McMahon on November 6.”
