Anne Hathaway, Joanne Woodward, Aaron Sorkin On the Guest List for Obama Fundraiser
The guest list for the Obama campaign fundraiser at Harvey Weinstein’s Westport home Monday night includes Anne Hathaway, Jim Naughton, Aaron Sorkin and Joanne Woodward.
Woodward, who lives in Westport, is the widow of Paul Newman. She is co-hosting the event, along with Sorkin, Hathaway and Weinstein and his wife, Georgina Chapman.
The $35,800-per-person dinner will be preceded by a $500-a-plate reception at the Stamford Marriott. Ben Harper will perform at the reception.
Gov. Dannel P. Malloy will also be attending the fundraiser at Weinstein’s house. The state’s Congressional delegation and its constitutional officers have also been invited.
Sen. Richard Blumenthal said Friday he is planning to attend the reception in Stamford but is uncertain whether he will attend the more intimate dinner at Weinstein’s home.

These are the vampires of the left. They suck their living from the middle class movie-goers and then turn around and support the person who’s making war against the middle class.
Really Palin Smith? The majority of people in America like arts & entertainment and President Obama. You can’t say the same for robber baron, Mitt Romney.
Conservatives get support from Clint Eastwood, John Voight and Gary Sinise. And, liberals get support from literallly every other creative artist in this country.
If you think Anne Hathaway is an artist…your overall judgement is flawed.
Most people like Obama? Maybe you need to see this:

@ Palin Smith, people like arts & entertainment. You get Clint Eastwood, Gary Sinise and Jon Voight and we get literally everyone else in Hollywood.
“Palin Smith” is not long on brains Stephen, you almost have to feel sorry for him.
Anne Hathaway is a phoney idiot (just like her buddy BO), so it stands to reason that she would support him. I would not go to see her so called films for free.
Just curious if the Democrats will send out a release criticizing the President for taking money from these Hollywood elites who market sex and violence to children? They are always quick to use that stupid talking point against another candidate.
They are the 1 Percent, what else would you expect!
He will raise millions and CT will vote for him again.
Our politicians wonder why our businesses are migrating to other states after 30 years of anti-business policies. But have no fear our president has decided we should “look forward” and not dwell on the past but it is history that tells us everything we need to know about this administration.
Wake up CT, vote these people out of power and hopefully out of our state for good.
If these are the people ,along with Warren Buffet, who want their taxes raised, why not tell Obama that and make a nice big tax offering before he leaves…skip the contribution, Wimpy just wants you to pay your fair share….
I was suggested this web site by way of my cousin. I’m not certain whether this submit is written via him as nobody else recognise such certain approximately my difficulty. You are wonderful! Thanks!
