Super PAC Battle: Pro-Roberti Group Zeroes In On Esty in 2nd Ad

The Super PAC supporting Dan Roberti is taking new swipes at his Democratic rival Elizabeth Esty. In its newest TV spot, the group, called New Directions for America, levels several allegations at Esty without once mentioning Roberti or House Speaker Chris Donovan

In an email to Capitol Watch, New Directions Treasurer Edward C. Sweeney said the 31-second spot will air on television stations throughout the Fifth District from now until primary day. He said the group has reserved $140,000 worth of air time so far.
