Bernier Launches First TV Ad; Calls Himself A Conservative Leader
In just a 30 seconds, Republican congressional candidate Justin Bernier mentions his military background, the president’s health care law and the economy.
“I’m running for Congress for the same reason I joined the military after 9-11,” he says in his first television advertisement of this campaign season. “Because America is in danger, and it’s time to fight.”
Bernier, who was a U.S. Navy reserve intelligence officer, calls the president’s health care law a dangerous and big government mandate. The law was recently upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court.
“It’s dead wrong,” he says. “Let’s repeal it now.”
He also says that run-away debt and spending threaten children’s futures, but there is still time to act.
“I’m a conservative leader, and I will defend America,” Bernier says.
Bernier will face Mark Greenberg, Andrew Roraback and Lisa Wilson-Foley in a 5th District primary race on Aug. 14.

From where I sit, the core values of America are on display in this spot. Uncommon for America today and especially rare in CT where cynics abound. What you see is what you get. A strong, dynamic and energetic conservative. A warrior who served when the chips were down in ‘stan and a fighter for CT jobs. Not just another pol ad but an honest appeal for a chance on a different future for the 5th district.

Hey BadBob! Where’s that pile of gold in Justin’s war chest? $138K? Last time I was doing math, that was nowhere near the $700K you were boasting of two weeks ago.
I’ll give Justin credit for one thing…he makes Andrew look well-financed!
Boasting? Y.G.B.S.M. Drop. That was 2 weeks ago and I was referencing the April numbers available..It’s all context.
Mr. Roraback can raise what he will from the country club, perpetual loser CT GOP all he wants. He remains a liberal RINO and the conservative voters know it! In November you find out (again unfortunately) IF “Andrew” carries this diluted primary.
I stand by my comments above re Bernier’s candidacy!

maybe he meant total contributions which are still higher than roraback?
ill certainly give justin credit for one thing…. he makes roraback look like a wussy.
