Better Know Your District: Census Bureau Puts More Data Online

by Categorized: Connecticut Date:

How high is unemployment in Connecticut\’s 1st Congressional District?

What is the median household income in the 3rd District?

How many people of Italian ancestry live in the 5th District?

Now you can find out more easily, as the Census Bureau has put much more of its data online and broken it out by Congressional district on this website. The site has data about demographics, jobs, finances, housing and education from the American Community Survey, which is done more often than the official census.

And if you don\’t remember which district you live in, you can double-check here.
