Winsley to Seek GOP Chairman’s Post

By Daniela Altimari On June 12, 2013 · 17 Comments

Wayne Winsley, the motivational speaker and former radio host who waged an unsuccessful battle to unseat U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro in 2012, announced Wednesday that he is running for chairman of the Connecticut Republican party.

“I am seeking the chairmanship for one reason and one reason only: to help turn the Republican party into a [...]

Republican Wants Taxes Raised*

By Daniela Altimari On December 7, 2012 · 5 Comments

“Time to increase taxes.”

From digital journalist Jenny Wilson, fresh out of Medill at Northwestern.

It’s a brave – and highly dubious — prediction.

Republican Wayne Winsley Slams Democrat DeLauro For Her Wealth

By Daniela Altimari On September 4, 2012 · 5 Comments

Wayne Winsley is a Republican congressional candidate but he sounds more like an Occupy Wall Street activist in his latest press release criticizing the personal wealth of his Democratic rival, U.S. Rep. Rosa DeLauro.

“Between 2008 and 2011, while so many of our fellow citizens were losing jobs and family incomes were shrinking, the personal [...]
