Committee Adopts 5 Blumenthal Amendments During Immigration Bill Markup

The Senate Judiciary Committee Monday adopted by voice vote five amendments sponsored by Sen. Blumenthal during committee markup of the landmark immigration bill.

Blumenthal Signs On To Bipartisan Legislation To Address Military Sexual Assault Crisis

Sen. Blumenthal on Thursday signed onto legislation to address a growing crisis over sexual assault in the military. A Department of Defense Report released last week found that in fiscal year 2012 there were 26,000 cases of sexual assault, a 37 percent increase from the previous year.
