U.S. Rep. Chris Murphy, a Democrat running for Senate, issued the following statement regarding the attack on American officials in Libya:

I condemn in the strongest terms the attack on American diplomats in Benghazi, which killed the United States Ambassador to Libya, J. Christopher Stevens, and three staff members. Ambassador Stevens, a former Peace Corps volunteer, was dedicated to helping the Libyan people build a better, more democratic future. Attacks on our diplomats cannot be tolerated and those responsible should immediately be brought to justice.

It is going to be interesting to see how these people are going to be “brought to justice.” Killing people with a drone without a trail has become American justice.

  2. Sharpshooter says:

Chris….be careful…you don’t want to show more backbone than the commander-in-chief…..he has already apologized for the cartoon that appeared on YOUTUBE and caused this mess….stay the party line, Chris….maybe you should apologize too….
