A commemorative Mark Twain coin will be issued in 2016, providing as much as $1 million in revenue for the Mark Twain House and Museum in Hartford. The U.S. House of Representatives approved the Twain coin legislation Thursday night. President Obama is expected to sign the bill. A surcharge on sales of the coins will provide revenue to four Twain sites around the country, including the Mark Twain House.

There will be a $5 gold coin and a silver dollar. The coins will be legal tender.  More here.
