esty election nightTo prepare for her new job as Connecticut’s newest member of the U.S. House of Representatives, Elizabeth Esty went back to Harvard.

Along with 46 of her new colleagues, Esty spent four days earlier this month at the Bipartisan Program for Newly Elected Members of Congress, run by Harvard University’s Institute of Politics.

Esty, who is 53, graduated from Harvard in 1981. Since then, the Democrat from Cheshire has held many titles: law clerk, attorney, stay-at-home mom, PTA member, town councilor and state representative.

More.

We are so fortunate to have yet another Ivy League liberal join the congress. It won’t be long now until we’ve taxed and spent ourselves into oblivion in the name of social justice and “investing” in our future.

    Bipartisan program…..progressive brainwashing program I might believe…but ‘bipartisan…no…

  3. She will have little influence being she is in the minority just like the rest of the House Delegation. Not a bad thing that.
