Esty Taps Campaign Aides For Top DC Jobs

Julie Sweet, who managed Elizabeth Esty’s successful campaign for the 5th District seat, will take over as her chief of staff in Washington.

Esty’s campaign spokesman, Jeb Fain, will become communications director.

“I’m honored to have the opportunity to help Congresswoman-elect Esty in her work to help those affected by the recent tragedy in Newtown, to improve the economy by reinvigorating manufacturing and helping small businesses, and to make education more affordable for families across the 5th District,” said Sweet in a press release from Esty’s office today.

“It’s a privilege to join Congresswoman-elect Esty’s staff and to help communicate her work and service on behalf of the people of the 5th District,” Fain said.
