The Family Institute of Connecticut says the media, in its \”rush to glorify\” the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling on same-sex marriage, is glossing over recent history.

\”What has reached new levels these last few weeks is Connecticut media’s whitewashing of state history–indeed, the very recent history of just the last ten years–on the subject of same-sex \’marriage\’ in Connecticut,\’\’ writes FIC Executive Director Peter Wolfgang. \”[T]he revisionist version they are now writing bears little resemblance to what we all experienced.\’\’

    Somebody called CT “long a refuge from the culture wars.” I nearly choked on my coffee. Yeah, I’d say revisionist history is an understatement.
