GMO Protest At Capitol: They Want Labels On Food

by Categorized: General Assembly Date:

A few pictures from Daniela Altimari, who is at a capitol protest this afternoon about genetically modified organisms — also known as GMOs.  Activists want food that is genetically modified to be clearly identified. The food manufacturing industry is opposed to legislation requiring labeling of products including GMO ingredients. Legislation requiring GMO labeling is expected to be introduced in the coming legislative session.

Hmmm… the cardboard sign has some real problems….the word ‘protest’ almost looks like ‘protect’….’experiment’ had an ‘X’ put in at the last moment and ‘Label’ was spelled wrong first time around….if you want to gain backing in your slogans make sure the spelling is correct first-time around…..perhaps a more thought out approach in sign development is in order….
