From GOP Chair Jerry Labriola, who was responding to State Democratic Chair Nancy DiNardo’s recent criticisms:

“It is astonishing and ironic that the Chairman of a party who has within its leadership a Speaker of the House who was caught selling legislative votes in exchange for campaign contributions, a candidate for Congress who lines her pockets with money from people who do business with her husband and the State of Connecticut, and a candidate for the U.S. Senate who forgets to pay his bills and then uses his political influence to extract favors from the same people who sued him on his bills, would incorrectly accuse Republicans on a matter of campaign finance law.

“Perhaps the Chairman’s time could be better spent regulating the malfeasance within her own corrupt party ranks.”
