Mia Love, the Connecticut-raised University of Hartford grad was aiming to become the first black Republican female in Congress. She is the mayor of Saratoga Springs, Utah and was a featured speaker at the Republican convention last summer.

Six-term U.S. Rep. Jim Matheson beat her by about 3,000 votes.

    The person she was running against is very power both financially and politically in Utah. It is like trying to win over against the Chicago machine. Mia was a much better person and candidate.

    i dont believe any of these results. people were waking up. i just cant believe they went back to sleep? no! cheats, cheats, cheats. all elections are so rigged! sad day in america. its all over now. ): breaks my heart that this great country is going down and soon to be no more as we knew it.
