Gov. Malloy To Join 15K Runners In Hartford

\"malloyHe\’ll be joining the Sandy Hook Run For The Families 5K along with 15,000 others and maybe 30,000 spectators in Hartford.

Proceeds from the run — as much as $350,000 — will go to the Sandy Hook School Support Fund.

The governor, who runs regularly in the neighborhood around the Prospect Avenue Mansion, is also making remarks at the start of the race.

    Nice that our governor sets a good example by staying in shape and participating in community events–he walks the walk! (or run, in this case)
