Gov. Malloy Will Have a Busy Schedule in Charlotte Next Month
Gov. Dannel P. Malloy is traveling to the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte next month and it looks like he’ll have a pretty full schedule.
The details are still being worked out but according to state Democratic party officials, the governor will be leaving for Charlotte on Monday, Sept. 3 and returning to the state on Friday, Sept. 7.
Malloy has been invited to speak at several breakfast meetings of state delegations, including Wyoming. He will also participate in various lunch meetings and a roundtable discussion on the “new economy” at Google’s Charlotte offices.
Will Malloy address the convention? A spokeswoman for the state Democratic party said that has yet to be determined.
