Mark Greenberg criticizes President Barack Obama in his first television advertisement leading up to the 5th Congressional District Republican primary.

The 31-second advertisement is titled, “Dust.” It was purchased Tuesday and will begin airing this week, said Greenberg’s spokesman, Chris Cooper.

Cooper would not say how much Greenberg paid for the advertisement, and he would not say what television stations would air it. He also would not say if the advertisement would run until Aug. 14 — the day of the primary.

“The campaign does not disclose specifics about our media strategy, but it’s safe to say that voters will see a lot of Mark Greenberg in the coming weeks,” Cooper said.

Greenberg’s advertisement begins by showing images of a factory.

“This factory used to be full of people working hard to support their families, but because of Barack Obama’s failed policies, the only thing that fills this warehouse now is dust,” Greenberg says.

In the advertisement, Greenberg continues to say that he’s spent 35 years creating jobs and that he will fight to get America working again by lowering tax rates and helping small businesses grow.

Greenberg, who lives in Litchfield, owns a real estate company and often says that his business experience distinguishes himself from his opponents.

The advertisement concludes with an announcer saying, “Mark Greenberg — the clear conservative voice for Congress.”

Greenberg’s opponents in the 5th District Republican primary are Justin Bernier, Andrew Roraback and Lisa Wilson-Foley.

Mark Greenberg is the only clear consistent conservative choice in the race. The August 14 primary is a clear conservative vs. RINO choice. Greenberg is the only choice for conservatives.
