The National Governors Association is hosting a summit on education and workforce readiness in Stamford later this month.
The meeting, scheduled for Oct. 22 at the Stamford Marriott Hotel, will feature a roundtable discussion on what states are doing to ensure educational institutions from kindergarten to college meet the future labor demands.
Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin, chairwoman of the National Governors Association, will cohost the event with Connecticut Gov. Dannel P. Malloy. Also scheduled to attend is Maine Gov. Paul LePage.
