   If Hewett says case closed, its closed, right? After all, why deal with a sexual harrassment issue if its a Democrat?

   The reason why we must call for, demand and require the resignation of rep. Hewett is because his off-the-cuff remark was not spontaneous. It clearly demonstrates that during the course of this 17 year old young woman’s testimony, he was viewing her as a sexual object and a fantasy sex partner and not listening to her issues as a legislator on the appropriations committee. He himself humiliated his spouse and family.

   I don’t give a damn that he is a Democrat — this witch hunt is a profound waste of time. Amazing how we laugh when Mitt Romney says to Joe Biden, “sometimes things come out the wrong way,” how we laugh when a meteorologist says “So Bob, where’s that eight inches you promised yesterday?” but we can’t believe that this was an honest misspeak. Because, you know, that has never happened to any of us.

   I am embarrassed by liberals *and* conservatives right now.
