Wes Duplantier, our top-shelf intern, reports that Linda McMahon “lent” her campaign $4.25 million in July. Her cumulative loans total more than $12.4 million for the 2012 campaign. She spent $50 million in a losing effort against Richard Blumenthal in 2010.

Money can’t buy her love, or the primary!
You know Rick I was travelling the second district Sunday with my billboard truck with the Giant Shays poster and there was one theme I heard over and over from folks. “Why didn’t Linda givemost of that money to charity or hold food bank drive events across the state, she could have gathered so much more goodwill than to plaster her face everywhere in a truly vanity crusade?”
A vote for Linda McMahon on Aug 14th is a vote for money controlling our state. In an election year in CT where we’ve seen scandal across the board, don’t you think we would try to steer clear from that?
