Key Lawmakers Meet Behind Closed Doors On Education Reform

Key legislative leaders have been meeting privately with members of the Malloy administration in an effort to reach agreement on an education reform bill.

Rep. Andrew Fleischmann, D-West Hartford, who co-chairs the legislature\’s Education Committee, said the areas being negotiated include the rollout of a school turnaround plan that would create a commissioner\’s network of low-performing schools.
