Labriola Weighs in on Blumenthal V. Boehner
Connecticut Republican party Chairman Jerry Labriola said Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal’s criticism of Republican House Speaker John Boehner is a “classic case of blaming the victim.”
Blumenthal, in an interview on CNN that aired Thursday, said the speaker “wasted last week” pushing a bill that “had no prospect of success.”
On Friday, Labriola came to Boehner’s defense.
“Sen. Blumenthal’s hypocritical attack on U.S. House Speaker John Boehner is a classic case of blaming the victim. It is more than a little ironic that Blumenthal — part of the Democrat-controlled U.S. Senate that has failed to pass a federal budget in four years – would characterize the Speaker’s effort to pass compromise ‘fiscal cliff’ legislation over the last week — as a waste of time,” Labriola said.
“Instead of trying to distract attention from the Democrats’ woeful record of inaction, paralysis and intractability, Blumenthal should bring some constructive action to this issue. Connecticut needs as its U.S. Senator an independent thinker who will bring creative solutions to the table, not a Harry Reid puppet who continues to engage in the partisanship that brought us to the edge of this ‘cliff’ in the first place,” he said.

I saw our faux Vietnam Veteran Senator talking on CNN in the breakroom as I was leaving work. Really I just can’t stand to listen to the man.
Mr. Labriola nailed it. How about running him in 2016?
Can someone tell me why Blumenthal ran for senate? Was it really to help and represent the people of CT? Or was it to gain more power? You will see how our representatives that are elected by money are becoming the ruling class that take liberties away to further their power.
