Linda and Reince, Part II

by Categorized: Uncategorized Date:

Linda McMahon did meet with Republican National Committee Chair Reince Priebus — here\’s photographic proof from her Facebook page.

But the get-together wasn\’t a political strategy session, said her spokeswoman, Kate Duffy. Preibus, as it turns out, is a big wrestling fan and he once told the former WWE chairwoman that he had a championship belt among his prized possessions.

McMahon, who was in DC to see a friend receive an award and visit with some former staffers, stopped by Preibus\’ office to get a look at the belt in person.

Duffy repeated what McMahon herself has been saying for months: \”Linda has been very clear and very consistent that she has no plans to run for any office.\”

  1. James J. Connolly

McMahon’s new generic campaign literature could read:

Vote for Linda McMahon for (fill in the office) along with (fill in the name of ant Democratic office holder), because she is (Choose one: A woman, A mother, A business owner, A job creator) for (Choose jurisdiction: Connecticut, New York, California, North Dakota).

Read James J. Connolly’s post (at your peril) because he is bashing (choose a Republican) for (pick a favorite liberal talking point).
