The long-awaited “Twardy Report” on Democrat Christopher Donovan’s campaign will be released on Thursday.

The report will be unveiled during a press conference in downtown Hartford by Stanley Twardy, the former U.S. Attorney who is now an attorney in private practice.

Twardy was hired – for a still-undisclosed sum – by the Donovan campaign to investigate the circumstances regarding fundraising after Robert Braddock, Jr., the campaign finance director, was arrested on May 30 by the FBI. Braddock was allegedly involved in trying to conceal the source of campaign funds to Donovan. Donovan has not been charged with any wrongdoing.

Braddock was fired from the campaign, along with Josh Nassi, the 34-yearold campaign manager, and finance assistant Sara Waterfall, a 30-year-old Danbury Democrat.
