Rick,
Personally, I’m a rabid Dem but I believe you’ve fundamentally characterized Malloy’s comments in this video. Malloy only attacks the Romney/Ryan budget and notes that it would harm residents of the 5th CD. I don’t see here where he even implicitly suggests any connection with a single Connecticut Republican. Maybe he did say something like that, but it’s not captured in this video.
This gov taking shots at someone else’s budget, please he is responsible for the highest tax increase in CT history and raised state spending that means we are still running at a deficit. CT middle class got hammered by this guy and he gave over 110 million in extra “welfare” payments under the earned income credit. Screw the working class and spend uncontrollably that is his motto…be very afraid of this little dictator.
“extreme views of party leaders”?
Doing nothing is the extreme thing.
Why is it that states with Republican Governors have more prosperity and lower taxes than Connecticut not to mention their decreasing union power. Also, those same state don’t need to pay companies with tax incentives to move to their state. I hardly think Malloy can be a good source to criticize Romney or Ryan. Connecticut is not a good place to do business and Malloy is the reason……
Well said Lee!
The speech by the govenor was nothing more that polictics as usual. There was absolutely no facts presented. There is man that that has raised taxes on the working people of ct while increasing the gifts to the poor. He should be the last person to point a finger at anyone.
