\"\"You think you\’re busy? When Gov. Malloy heads home to the governor\’s mansion today he\’ll put aside the state budget and grab the apron and start cooking. At least 20 people will be sitting down with the Malloys tomorrow and the governor says he will be in charge of the kitchen.

\”I have a 35 pound turkey that I will stuff with a bread and cornbread combination stuffing. You can never have enough onions or butter or celery is my rule.\”

\"\"The menu also includes sweet potatoes, roasted broccoli, peas, mashed potatoes with onions and garlic, pearl onions and cream sauce.

\”I am the cooker-in-chief,\” Malloy said. \”My wife is going to make some of the desserts.\”

Malloy said he began preparing for the holiday Wednesday morning by starting the sauce and meatballs. \”It gets attacked all weekend,\’\’ he said.

Malloy said the Pats Jets game will be on.  When I asked about UConn joining the ACC, he would only say that \”the ACC would be a great fit.\”
