Math And Science Scores: CT vs. World

Results from the Trends in International Math and Science Study show that Connecticut still continues to trail some Asian and European countries in math and science achievement — a critical indicator of international competitiveness. Among 8th graders, Connecticut students exceed the national average and scores among the top states. Massachusetts scores close to the top among all states and nations.
