Linda McMahon invested another $1.3 million into her 2012 Senate bid late last week, according campaign finance reports filed on Thursday and obtained by the Courant.

I find it amusing that a millionaire would spend $43.9M on a job that she claims her opponent made $1M at last year. I’m sure she is doing it to help me. LOL
I find it amusing that Murphy can convince anyone over the age of 2 that McMahon is spending $100 million of her own money so she can give herself a $7 million tax cut.
Almost as funny as the people who think they are getting a $500 tax cut from the wrestling lady.
I find it sad and disconcerting that Daniela Altimari doesn’t write a word about how much Chris Murphy just got from Soros. Even sadder that it slipped right past Red Wood without a word, as well.
Consider this further proof of the media dishonety and duplicity that should outrage citizens seeking objectivity so they can make INFORMED decisions during this most crucial of presidential elections.
Daniela Altimari could be Candy Crowley in disguise – you never see them together do you?
What’s Linda McMahon Running For? It’s not what you think.
Running for public office is not tax deductible. However, these expenses are deductible from her estate tax. Her family will have to pay well over $100 million in estate taxes when they inherit her vast fortune. The $100 million she has spent campaigning results in a tax savings of at least $40 million.
We taxpayers will end up paying her campaign costs in the form of lost estate taxes. Now you know why her family does not complain. She would prefer you did not know this. She’s not just spending her own money. She’s spending YOUR future tax money.
Connect the dots…
‘we taxpayers’ are losing out on someone else’s earnings, but you want to call the 1% the ‘greedy, selfish’ class?
Do you not take advantage of tax deductions or are you more altruistic than that?
Beware of libs and dems who demean and excoriate the successful while lining their pockets with what they get to take from them.
Connect the dots….
Mike, thanks for the Clinton math, that doesn’t work because it’s the new math that they teach in schools.
‘Us taxpayers’ don’t lose anything. Whatever money Linda may have paid into taxes doesn’t go into our pockets so nothing is being taken away from us. You want people like Murphy in office and you want socialist programs throughout the state and country, then you have to man up and get used to paying for them insted of asking everyone else to pay YOUR share.
Huh? Didn’t McMahon sing an entirely different tune when she announced for 2012?
Something along the lines of her not relying so much on her own money? And not-running such a mega-campaign?
Didn’t Murphy say something about not selling out to special interests and creating jobs?
We live in a world of precision instruments today.
Very Competitive, We live in a world of specialists.
You don`t see a foot doctor for a mental problem.
Chris Murphy is a United States Congressman;
Linda McMahon is an Old Carnival Barker, that`s just the way it is.
She clearly illustrates having nothing intellectually to offer Connecticut in terms of a United States Senator. This is nothing but an empty facade; Behind Linda McMahon’s eyes exists a vast void. Personally, I don’t think she has the capacity for the level of intelligence, or thought to perform as a United States Senator ; And I think her level of abstract thought and reasoning belongs on children`s television, Saturday Mornings. One day Linda McMahon is designing the next gimmick and theme of the next TV Wrestler; And the next day she`s discussing defense contracts and budget issues with The Department of Defense ? ! ?
You can put lipstick on an old Carnival Barker, and what have you got? An old carnival barker wearing lipstick !
Is this the best the Republican Party can put forth in Connecticut ? Linda McMahon ?
What do the old Republican Stalwarts think of this ?
She says she does not accept PAC money, but they keep spending money to benefit her campaign. Recently she got $57,000 in telemarketing support from the FreedomWorks for America conservative super PAC; and another $5,600 from the National Right to Life PAC.
She says she is pro-choice but she is getting support from the Right to Life PAC.
She spent 50 million dollars runing for office last time around. I had to look at flyers in my mail every day and tv comercials every night for a year telling me what a nice person she is. Perhaps if she could list one good thing she has done in her life with all her money I would have considered voting for her.
you mean besides creating over 600 jobs? There, that’s 600 things she’s done. How many have you done?
Your own twisted logic is working against you Ian. You want a specialist then pretend that’s what Murphy is. You’re right – he is a specialist. He specializes in making a living off taxpayer money while providing nothing useful to the citizens in return. CT needs jobs. By your logic, Chris is not the man to provide those jobs.
Of the two candidates, only one of them has a record of creating jobs. She can wear all the lipstick she wants, and you can call her any name (such as Carnival barker) that YOU want, but it doesn’t change the fact that she has the experience to create jobs.
She also knows how to manage money (when she has it).
Time to see your foot doctor, Ian, and have him remove YOURS from your mouth
