I guess he didn’t get the memo; I wonder if Governor Danny knew he was referring to him
who paid for the dinner(taxpayer)or gov. dan malloy now we know who is kissing up obama we can vote them out
It’s really awful. I mean for the president to refer to Governor Malloy as Dan when his name is Dannel — terrifying. I bet he didn’t send a thank you card, either! The nerve!
More seriously, I can understand how he misses the names from time to time. There are fifty states. There are countless representatives and lieutenants and cops and all of these officials and so confusing first names seems like a real possibility. So you stop using first names: “Your state’s amazing leader, Governor Malloy, is here.” Simple.
