More SOTU Guests Affected By Sandy Hook

Florida Rep. Lois Frankel is bringing Lynn McDonnell, whose daughter Grace was killed in the Sandy Hook shooting. McDonnell’s husband, Chris McDonnell, will attend as Rep. Gloria Negrete McLeod’s (D-CA) guest.  During his speech announcing his gun violence prevention proposals, President Obama mentioned he has a painting by Grace McDonnell hanging in his private study. He said it was given to him by her parents and serves as a reminder that he needs to take action.
