   I’m 100% in favor of balancing the budget and reducing our national deficit. However, I don’t think cutting medicare is the way to go about it. Our government is so over bloated with waste and redundancy that there is no need to cut services if we could just become more efficient.

   What is amazing to me is why is Connecticut a dark blue state while its heritage is based on personal responsibility and “Yankee ingenuity.” It looks like Connecticut has lost its way with the help of the Hartford Courant.
