Murphy Arrives, He’s On Buzzfeed!
Chris Murphy gets a big sloppy kiss from Buzzfeed:
WASHINGTON — Last week, Sen. Chris Murphy couldn’t get the new will.i.am and Britney Spears song “Scream & Shout” out of his head.
So, the freshman Democrat from Connecticut took the only action that made sense: He tweeted about it.
… As the youngest member of the United States Senate — an institution whose average member is, at 61, more than 20 years Murphy’s senior — Murphy often seems to be juggling authenticity and professionalism with a certain expectation of hipness. Having recently joined what he calls a “new, young nucleus” of rap-quoting, basketball-playing Senate Gen-Xers, he faces the daily challenge fitting his admittedly dorky persona into the new mold of the Capitol Hill cool kids club.

Buzzfeed huh lol
Ugh. I wouldn’t vote for him on his issue positions; looks like I wouldn’t on his taste in music either.
And to think that you could have voted for the old carnival barker, Linda McMahon! Chris Murphy is a Square and a Dork, he`s a congressman; and now a U.S. Senator. He’s not getting buzzed and listening to rap. You are more likely to find him with a pocket protector than a Bong. Relax, he`s clean and bright, and his heart is in the right place.
